Wikipedia Revisited

I've checked my wikipedia entry for the false information that I added into the critical reception area on Sunday saying that The Shawshank Redemption won two Academy Awards for Best Actor, Morgan Freeman and Best Adapted Screenplay, though I know that the film didn't win a single Academy Award. It was still on the wikipedia site Monday morning after our class, but I didn't check again until Friday morning and it was deleted. My estimated guess of what happened in the four days in which I didn't check my wikipedia entry, is probably someone from wikipedia erased it sometime during those four days when they saw that it was wrong.

Illustrator Final Image

Here is my recreated Pepsi Twist with lime ad using illustrator. I used the pen tool, pathfinder tool, and live trace tool for my chosen ad. I edited it to the best of my liking and found the right font that I felt was close enough to the font that was used in the ad. I also used the free rotate transform tool to align the words to a different angle.

Illustrator Update Post 2

I'm just about finished recreating the ad I chose on illustrator. I just need to do a couple more things with illustrator before I'm finished and need a little more time before posting my final post. Sorry I don't have an image of what I've done so far, but I was having trouble uploading the image on my blog which I will try to figure out. I will probably need a couple more days to work on this.

Illustrator Progress Post 1

I'm still working to recreate my chosen ad for Illustrator. My progress so far is I'm finishing up what I did in photoshop and plan to transfer it to illustrator so I can put text and edit the ad I chose.
